Short overview about Communist Party of Czechoslovakia - Czechoslovakian Workers Party (CPC-CWP)

Communist Party of Czechoslovakia - Czechoslovakian Workers Party (CPC-CWP) was formally founded on XX. associate assembly of Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (CPC) in Bruntál February 24th 2001. On this assembly the communist party dissociated from bureaucratic and opportunist methods of the former central committee of Miroslav Štěpán and his group. This group was excommunicated from the party, the new leaders were elected and the party was linked together with Czechoslovakian Workers Party (CWP). Party was renamed to CPC-CWP.

This political organization is a part of world, revolutionary communist movement and continues authentic, progress and militant traditions of all Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (CPC), founded in 1921, especially their great historical experiences and example of this party since their V. assembly in 1929 to Khrushchev revisionism in 1956. The ideological orientation of CPC-CWP are the theories of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin and the great historical exemplary acts of that general theorists and practices of the international revolutionary movement, irrespective of all slanders and lies, propagated by a modern bourgeois propaganda.

Nowadays CPC-CWP is only one really and revolutionary communist party in former Czechoslovakia, even if also exists a lot of different marx-leninist groups, forces and tendencies, whether non-party or inside the others organizations. Unification and consolidation of all marx-leninist forces in the nearest future, is one of the most important tasks and aims of our party.

In contrast to „modern left“ and „democratic-socialist“ „Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia“ (CPBM), which in contravention of the party name reveal all revolutionary, marxist persuasion of the fight against bourgeois regime and his state, CPC-CWP became the object of persecutions and oppressions of this state. Ruling capitalist state authority refused - for reasons ideological orientation of CPC-CWP - register our party and declare the new name of our party and other changes approved by the XX. extraordinary assembly of our party. Headquarters of that party are badly persecuted economical, in the work and also they are victims of differently social and political oppressions. For example headquarter of CPC-CWP, comrade Ludvík Zifčák, was in 1990‘s - after iniquitous, artificial trial account on political event in 1989 - one of the main political prisoners of contra revolutionary regime after 1989. In 2000 he was the victim of extreme right terrorist attack, when a bomb destroyed his family car.

One of the headquarters of our party and former general editor of radical left press Pochodeň (The Torch), comrade David Pěcha, in 1999 for political reasons couldn´t study history and philosophy on the university, nowadays face charges and arraignment for so-called propagation of communism (in Czech Republic it‘s the first case account on propagation of communist world view!). In the next month we are looking forward the trial, whereof com. Pěcha can go to prison for eight years.

Former general editor of independent and our party near, regional newspapers „Nové Bruntálsko“, František Zámečník, was sentenced in 1990´s. But in 2001 token place the other political process against this leftist journalist, and he was judged to 16 months in the prison! (It‘s the first time in Czech Republic for the journalist activity!) Even important nongovernmental abroad institutions, for example International Press Institute in Vienna (IPI) or World association of Newspapers (WAN) and the other organizations, entered the protests against retaliation of independent or revolutionary leftist journalists in Czech Republic.

Actual situation in Czech Republic features the progression of the political fascisation of the state power and its different hard repressions against all power of the real radical and revolutionary left. The social-political connection between repressive character of the state organs and neo-fascist tendencies and ultra right movements is consolidate. CPC-CWP is the part of the world anti-global and anti-imperialist movement and thoroughly support its social struggle and class war.

Nowadays there are three political parties with name „Communist“ in Czech Republic. More detailed explication of this problems is in material, which our party has elaborated and sent to Brussels in spring 2001, on the occasion of International Communist Seminar in may 2001. Our party‘s policy, character and the programme profile is oriented to Pchjongjang Appeal 1992, especially to Brussels Declaration 1995 and to the all anti-global, anti-imperialist, proletarian, primarily to the marx-leninist and revolutionary groups, tendencies, parties and currents, refusing any exposures of the „democratic“ conciliationism, bourgeois statehood or every forms of revisionism, „anti-Stalinism“ or trotskyism.

In contrast to this decadent and in principle anticommunist tendencies, own to all reformist, „all-people“, „democratic“ parties with any name, our CPC-CWP declare: Our definite examples - besides famous, great and victorious Cuban revolution and CP Cuba - are also revolutionary parties and organizations, for example Workers Party of Belgium (PTB) of com. Ludo Martens, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) (VKPB) of com. Nina Andrejevna and other fighting avant-garde of ant imperialistic and proletarian revolution in all world, especially in countries of Latin America, Asia and Africa.

Long live and victory to world socialist revolution, which can lose the battle, but never be defeated!

Death to capitalism and his globalization!!

Long lives to marxism-leninism the only one solution from poverty, oppressed and injustice of the majority of people!!

Executive Comitee of CPC-CWP,

November 2001
